Strategy Identity Capacity
Community MusicWorks (CMW) is a nationally recognized community-based organization that uses music education and performance as a vehicle for community development. Sebastian Ruth, Founder and Artistic Director, won a MacArthur Fellowship for his innovative approach to using music as an agent of social change. Synthesis Partnership guided the board, staff and the community through a strategic planning process that clarified mission, vision, and programming; refocused strategy and aspirations; defined new initiatives for marketing and earned revenue; and strengthened the ability of the board to contribute productively to the success of the organization.
